Iqamah is designed to keep personal worship tools private and local whenever possible. We do not sell personal information, we do not use advertising trackers, and the app does not require an account.
Information Iqamah Handles
Depending on which features you use, Iqamah may handle the following information on your Mac:
- Prayer time preferences, calculation method, notification settings, language settings, and other app preferences.
- Approximate or precise location if you choose to allow location access for prayer time calculations.
- Prayer habit, dhikr, tasbeeh, Hijri calendar, and related Pro feature data that you enter or generate in the app.
- Purchase status information provided by Apple to confirm whether Iqamah Pro is unlocked.
Iqamah is intended to store app preferences and worship activity data locally on your device. StacknScope does not operate an Iqamah account system or cloud sync service for this data.
Location Data
Iqamah may request location permission so it can calculate prayer times for your area. If you grant permission, location data is used for prayer time and related Islamic calendar features. We do not use location data for advertising or tracking.
You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in macOS System Settings. If location access is disabled, you may need to set or adjust your location manually in the app.
Purchases
Iqamah Pro purchases are handled by Apple through the Mac App Store. Apple may process payment information, purchase history, and related account information under Apple's own privacy policy. StacknScope does not receive your full payment card details.
Website Data
When you visit this website, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, referrer, and timestamps. This information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
Third Parties
We may rely on third-party providers to distribute the app, process App Store purchases, host this website, and maintain basic infrastructure. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not share Iqamah app data with advertising networks.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local Iqamah app data remains on your Mac unless you delete it, reset app settings, or remove the app and its associated data. You can also revoke system permissions, such as location access, through macOS System Settings.
Website server logs and infrastructure records, if any, are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, diagnostics, operations, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

Children's Privacy
Iqamah is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to StacknScope, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
International Users
Iqamah may be used in different countries and regions. If you contact us or visit this website, information may be processed in the country where StacknScope, its service providers, or hosting infrastructure operate.
